Janne Pesonen looks as if he has a little adjusting to do yet, but he didn't seem out of place. In fact, he made some nice passes and used his speed to create openings for himself. He was skating with Tyler Kennedy and Jeff Taffe. Pesonen did miss a breakaway opportunity, but the fact that he created it for himself was a great sign of what could be on the horizon. I still think that he logs some NHL ice time this year. He may need a cup of coffee in the AHL first though...we will see

yes, i actually took it from the video of practice they have up on PensTV, (www.penguins.com) you can see mr. golden helmet take the ice with the rest of the pens. there isn't too much of janne, but if you look towards the middle of Group A practice, thats wear I found him, after searching for awhile. he doesn't look as sweet without that helmet :D
ya, I kinda figured that the hype we tried to create here wasn't shared by to many blogs/sites. It been a lot of fun, Janne kinda looks lonely in the pic, wonder if he was a little down since therrien won't let him donne the golden helmet. Hey but thanks for the feed back anyways. Feel free to send pic/videos and/or news. I'm going to the morning skate Saturday to see what I can come with.
