Trade Deadline Looms Rumors Swirl...
Ahh NHL Trade Deadline time... Tons of Rumors going around, don't know if any of them are worth a damn... On ESPN they talked about the Pens trying to Re-acquire Ruutu...wouldn't mind that, Cooke isn't stirring the pot enough... Looks like the Caps might be up shit creak with rumors of them with cap issues preventing them from making a big signing (their goalie situation is awful)... Anyways the Pens might be re-evaluating their stance with Staal tearing shit up as of late... who knows but we'll do our best to keep you in the loop

Just heard the pens waived Billy Thomas..
Staal been like this all season. He'll play like a bat out of hell for a stretch of games and then... well, not so much.
I know the kid's going to be great and all, but I just can't see spending 4 million a year developing a center when we have two better guys locked up for the immediate future. Money better spent elsewhere.
