Back to business

The citizens voice in wilkes barre has a nice little article on Janne. Not too much new information other than the fact that Janne served in the Finish army and was a Grenadier...i kid you not. Anyways, it seems that Golden Boy is in this for the long haul and isn't gonna stop until he realizes his dream of playing in the NHL...

They also have an interesting analysis comparing scoring in the AHL to scoring in SM-Liiga:

Jarkko Immonen was one of the Hartford Wolf Pack’s best players in 2005-06, posting 20 goals and 46 points in 54 games. Back in Finland last year, he had 26 goals and 63 points in the same number of games.

Going the other direction, Hershey defenseman Sami Lepisto had 29 points in 56 games for Jokerit in 2005-06 and 45 points in 55 games with the Bears last season.
Slight advantage AHL.

I don't know whats more frightening to opponents: Janne on the top line or Janne on the front line.

I hope he NEVER confuses the puck with a grenade.

I do...with a grenade you get it, you get rid of it quickly, and make sure it hits your target...

Exactly my point.

We want goals that count, not just wild shots. It's not a "hot potato", it's a hockey puck.
