Hell has Frozen over...

Image curtosy of the Wilkes Barre Penguins Insider

Hell has frozen over when the Penguins decide to keep a Talentless hack that is just gonna pick up penalty minutes, the occasional deflection goal (if he's lucky), and lose a whole bunch of fights... Yeah and they kept him over somebody who has proven himself on the ice (ooo not in the US, stfu) as a playmaker and goal scorer...

I hope before Hell finalizes the freezing over, Mikey T and Ray Ray go there so they get frozen over and they rot there... in hell

Just to remind everybody we are not going anywhere. Janne will be back, I Guarandamntee it, and when he is tearing up Wilkes-Barre and comes back and sets shit on fire, i'll be here, waitin to say I told you so...

I encourage all the janniacs out there to leave their best FU to ray ray and mikey t here, i feel you pain we will work through this together...

I have no FU's for Ray or HCMT. They have already helped bring me too much joy for me to be angry at either of them for this. I believe Janne will be back up with the big team sooner rather than later. This will give him a little more time to adjust to the North American game. The only thing I'm upset about is that this will mess with his ability to join the official 50 goals in 50 games club this season.

I was just as stunned to hear the news as you. Although, I do think this is just a temporary thing.

I mean, Bill Thomas may be from Pittsburgh, but 95% of NHL fans have never heard of him before this preseason, myself included, so he cant be that great. Bissonnette, he can fight and is a little better offensively than Godard so he might stick. Jeff Taffe is just Jeff Taffe... he's replaceable.

In the case of an injury, JP has got to be the 1st guy to get the call-up. Otherwise, I'd say give him 20 games or so in AHL to get into North American form and he'll be right back here playin with the big boys.

This is probably just a matter of them wanting to get him more ice time in big situations. I wouldn't read too much into it. He will definitely have a chance to play his way back onto the big club.

I believe it is only a matter of time. In Shero I trust. HCMT not so much. Cmon Therien why not stack your line up from the start. Every game is important. Also, Janne can fill a void at any of the lines... not many minor leaguers can do that..

Better to get him more accustomed to our way of hockey on an AHL first line than a NHL third line.
